Job Description

Must Have:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  3–5 years of software development experience focused on SAS.  Strong experience in Base SAS, SAS Macro/SQL, UNIX/LINUX.  Hands-on experience in developing and testing SAS jobs.  Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.  Data warehouse background.  Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Good to Have:  Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud platforms.  Experience with other ETL tools like DataStage.  Exposure to Oracle Exadata, Big Data.  Team lead experience.  Knowledge of ISMS/data security guidelines.  Certification in Base SAS or other ETL tools. Key Competencies Technical: SAS, SAS Macro, SQL UNIX/LINUX Cloud platforms (AWS, ADF) DataStage Oracle DB, Mainframes (Cobol/JCL) Soft Skills: Agile mindset and Scrum experience Strong communication and collaboration skills Proactive, self-motivated, adaptable T-shaped mindset with willingness to cross-skill

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy SAS applications. Implement ETL practices, ensuring integration of security and compliance requirements. Optimize and build batch jobs based on business needs. Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of processes. Troubleshoot and debug production and non-production issues. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
