As an API tester, you will:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated API test suites for RESTful APIs using ReadyAPI ( or SoapUI )
• Validate APIs designed using a design-first approach, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and security testing of APIs
• Test third-party API integrations to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers and product owners to ensure timely resolution
• Validate API security, including authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Maintain clear and accurate test documentation, test cases, and test reports
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies, tools, and processes
What do we expect from you?
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Informatics or IT-related field
• High proficiency with ReadyAPI / SoapUI for manual and automated API testing
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON/XML
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken

Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect is highly valued, as security and scalable integrations are core to our platform strategy.
To be successful as an API tester, you are analytical and technically strong, with a keen eye for validating business requirements by designing and executing robust API tests that ensure quality, security, and scalability.
