The client wanted to increase the velocity of identifying, tracking and fixing bugs. The requirement was to provide a full spectrum view of the Application Performance. We devised a solution that utilized a combination of New Relic, Splunk along with Opsgenie to provide a custom dashboard and alerting system that would provide a clear overview of various Application Performance and Log metrics.
As a result, the speed of root cause analysis went down to 2 hours on P1 issues from an average of 5 hours. Log analytics became a key advantage for the team for forecasting issues, fixing them in advance and thus helping maintain a more stable system.
