YOE: 3–5 years (preferably 4–5 years).
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior SDET with a strong background in API automation testing and a passion for building scalable, high-quality test frameworks.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
3–5 years of hands-on experience in API automation testing, with a solid understanding of RESTful services and microservices architecture.
Strong programming skills in Java (preferred); proficiency in other languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
Proven experience working with distributed systems, with the ability to design and validate end-to-end workflows across services.
Good understanding of system design principles and design patterns, particularly in building maintainable and scalable automation frameworks.
Experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, RestAssured, or equivalent tools).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows.
Ability to quickly learn and leverage GenAI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to improve productivity and accelerate automation efforts.
Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail and quality.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of transparency in reporting progress, risks, and blockers.
Strong understanding of test data management, including strategies for creating, maintaining, and isolating test data across environments to ensure reliable and repeatable test execution.
Hands-on experience with mocking and stubbing techniques to simulate dependent services and isolate components under test.
Proficiency with tools such as WireMock and/or GripMock for creating and managing mock APIs, including dynamic stubbing, request matching, and response templating.
